Immunizations:
Immunization protect people from serious diseases that can cause breathing problems, brain damage, lung damage, blindness, seizures, and even death. Complete vaccination protection often requires 4 or more visits to your doctor or clinic. Shots may be received if taking antibiotics, cold symptoms or mild illness.
Your healthcare provider should give you a record of immunizations. If you don't receive one, ask! Bring your records to all medical appointments and immunization clinics.
The Health Department provides vaccines for infants, children, adults, and individuals traveling internationally. Click on the link to view immunization schedules.
